【用英文怎麼說】微醺、酒鬼、酒量好壞怎麼說?和喝酒有關的英文Engoo告訴你！

除了酒量的單字外，還有哪些和喝酒有關的單字、片語呢？趕快接著看下去吧！

nurse 除了大家都知道的護士之外，作為動詞也可以表達慢慢喝的意思，

所以如果你是喜歡慢慢啜飲，品嘗酒類味道的人，就可以用nurse來表達。

【例句】

Kevin is sitting at the corner over there nursing a bottle of beer.

Kevin坐在那邊的角落啜飲一瓶啤酒。

have a few drinks：只喝一點點酒；

照字面上的意思就可以理解，就是小酌的意思。

【例句】

A：What’s your plan for the coming weekend? 你對這假日有什麼計畫嗎?

B：I'm going to have a few drinks with my friends. 我要和朋友去小酌一下。

前面提到慢慢喝酒、小酌的英文怎麼說後，

當然也有大口暢飲的說法，可以用動詞guzzle來表達。

【例句】

Gina guzzled a bottle of beer.

Gina大口喝下一罐啤酒。

如果是想要說明酒量非常好或是很差，有不同的方法可以表示：

(1) I can (not) drink a lot.

(2) I can (not) hold one's liquor (well).

(3) I have high/low alcohol tolerance.

其中第三種說法是比較正式的說法。

想要說一個人非常愛喝酒、是一個酒鬼，

可以說 a heavy drinker (重度飲酒的人) 或是 an alcoholic (酒精成癮的人) 。

另外 heavy 如果用 light 來替代則表示相反的意思。

【例句】

John is a heavy drinker, so his wife left him two years ago.

John是一個酒鬼，所以他的太太2年前就離開他了。

戒酒可以簡單的用 give up drinking 來表達，或是說 sb. is on the wagon，

此說法的典故是以前戒酒的人會用喝水來替代，而 wagon 就是指運水的馬車，

因此 on the wagon 就可以表示戒酒中；而戒酒失敗，

走回頭路也可以用這個典故，以 fall off the wagon (掉下馬車) 表示。

【例句】

I won’t go with you tonight. I’m on the wagon.

我今晚就不跟你去(酒吧)了，我正在戒酒。
