【英文片語】睡覺除了sleep還能用這12個片語表達
如果睡覺可以賺錢就好了！你也是每天都要跟床上演十八相送的人嗎？
今天要教大家「睡覺」的主題單字，每天想睡覺的時候跟朋友說一種不同的講法，很快就記起來囉！
當你擁有好的睡眠品質時，可以這麼說：
1. be out like a light (v.) 馬上入睡
[例句]
As soon as I get into my bed, I am out like a light.
只要我一躺進我的床，我就可以馬上入睡。
2. sleep like a log/baby (v.) 睡得非常安穩
log (n.)在這邊指漂流木，像漂流木一樣的睡法，可想而知非常安穩。
[例句]
I slept like a log/ baby every night during the summer vacation .
在暑假期間，我每晚都睡得很安穩。
3. be a deep sleeper (n.) 熟睡者；睡著不容易醒的人
[例句]
I am a deep sleeper, so I did not hear you calling.
我睡著後不容易被吵醒，所以沒聽到你打來的聲音。
當你睡眠狀態不太好時，可以這麼說：
4. toss and turn (v.) 輾轉難眠
[例句]
I tossed and turned every night after breaking up with my girlfriend.
在跟女朋友分手之後，我每天晚上都輾轉難眠。
5. not sleep a wink (v.) 沒睡好
wink (n.) 這邊指一眨眼間，連睡一眨眼的時間都沒有，意味著睡眠時間極少。
[例句]
I want to take a nap for I did not sleep a wink last night.
我想小睡一下因為我昨晚沒睡好。
6. be a light sleeper (v.) 淺眠者
[例句]
Can you stop making noises? I am a light sleeper and I have to wake up early tomorrow.
你可以不要再製造噪音了嗎？我的睡眠很淺而且明天還要早起。
7. have insomnia (v.)/ be an insomniac (v.) 患有失眠/ 失眠者
insomnia (n.) 是失眠，insomniac (n.)則是失眠者
[例句]
have suffered from insomnia for one year, and it is really upsetting.
我已經患有失眠一年了，這真的很令人苦惱。
其他常見睡眠形容詞：
8. sleep in (v.) 睡到自然醒
[例句]
Many people sleep in on weekends in order to compensate for lack of sleep during the week.
很多人在週末睡到自然醒，藉此來彌補平日睡眠的不足。
9. sleep over/ stay the night (v.) 過夜(在自己住處以外的地方過夜)
[例句]
My mother would never allow me to stay the night at my boyfriend's house.
我媽絕對不會允許我在男朋友家過夜。
10. hit the hay/ sack (v.) 睡覺
hay (n.) 指乾草，sack (n.) 則是麻布袋，
這邊推測古人可能是直接睡在乾草或布袋上，所以用這兩個單字來形容睡覺。
[例句]
I have been working for ten hours. Now I want to hit the hay/ sack.
我已經工作十小時了，現在我想睡了。
11. get some shuteye (v.) 睡覺
[例句]
Could you turn off the light for me, please? I want to get some shuteye.
可以幫我關燈嗎？我想睡覺了。
12. sleep on it (v.) 睡個覺後再做決定；需要一些考慮時間
[例句]
: Do you agree with the terms and conditions that I mentioned before?
: Well, I will sleep on it.
: 你同意我先前說過的條款嗎？
: 恩... 我需要一些思考時間。
