documentary / doco (n.) 紀錄片
【例句】
This documentary took a fresh look at the old social issue.
這部紀錄片從一個全新的角度去看這個談論已久的社會議題。
political documentary (n.) 政治紀錄片
【例句】
Watching political documentary could sharpen our wit about politics.
看政治紀錄片可以增加我們對於政治的智慧。
biographical documentary (n.) 傳記紀錄片
【例句】
The biographical documentary profiled the life of Eric Clapton.
這部傳記紀錄片描述了Eric Clapton的一生。
observational documentary (n.) 觀察式紀錄片
這種類型的紀錄片是希望模擬沒有第三者的紀錄者，
讓觀眾身歷其境地「自行觀察」場景中的人事物。
因此，通常沒有旁白、訪問等，而是單純透過攝影機的視角訴說故事。
【例句】
There aren’t too many pure observational documentaries these days.
現在並沒有很多純的觀察式紀錄片。
expository documentary (n.) 昭告式紀錄片
相對於觀察式紀錄片，昭告式紀錄片透過旁白、採訪等敘事方式，
闡述某個事實或議題觀點，甚至試圖說服觀眾理解導演的視角。
這也是最常見的紀錄片形式。
【例句】
He loves filming expository documentaries on this issue.
他喜歡拍攝關於這個議題的昭告式紀錄片。
experimental documentary (n.) 實驗式紀錄片
凡任何藝術形式加上「實驗」，簡單來說，
就是不同於以往、嘗試性、新穎的表現手法。
因此，當一部紀錄片不隸屬於上述任一分類，就可被稱為實驗式紀錄片。
【例句】
The junior director won the prize with his experimental documentary.
這位年輕的導演以他實驗式紀錄片獲得獎項。
archival footage / stock footage (n.) 影片片段、素材
【例句】
It is an undisclosed archival footage from his elder sister.
這是一段由他姐姐保留的未公開影片片段。
feature film (n.) 劇情長片
指放映時間有一定長度的電影。
此長度標準會因不同區域、時間或制定機構而異，
短則需達 40 分鐘，長則須達 75 分鐘以上。一般而言，約為 90 - 120 分鐘。
【例句】
Feature films could portray the story in more details.
劇情長片可以更詳細地描繪出故事情節。
chronicle (v.) 記述，紀錄（大事）
【例句】
The film chronicles the series of events that led to the corruption of the country.
這部電影詳細記述一連串導致國家腐敗的事件。

slow motion / slo-mo (n.) （鏡頭的）慢動作

voice-over (n.) 旁白

This famous actress often provide voice-overs for animation movies.
