【同義字】不用副詞 "Very" 要怎麼表現程度？把這7個簡單的形容詞變精準！

想要表達自己「非常」開心、難過、生氣等，

你會怎麼說呢？

很多人應該是想到在前面加上very。

不過，如果能直接換一個「升級版」形容詞，

你會聽起來更生動喔！

Happy 快樂

下次想要表達「非常快樂」，

除了 “very happy” 外，

可以直接用 “overjoyed”，意思是 “filled with joy（充滿了喜悅）”；

或是 “ecstatic”，意思是「欣喜若狂」、「充滿期待」。

【例句】

1. He was very happy overjoyed when he found out he was having a baby girl.
當他得知他的寶寶是女生時，他的世界整個充滿了喜悅。

2. I'm very happy ecstatic about starting my new job.
對於新的工作，我感到興奮不已。

以下是一段截自新聞的對話：

Sad 悲傷

當你想要說 “very sad”，表達非常難過的時候，

不妨試試 “depressed”，指的是「沮喪」、「失落」；

或是 “heartbroken”，表示「心碎的」；

甚至是 “devastated”，表示好像世界毀滅了一樣。

1. She became very sad depressed after losing her job.
沒了工作後，她感到非常沮喪。

2. We were very sad devastated when we heard that our friend had been swept away by the floods.
聽到朋友被洪水沖走的消息後，我們都崩潰了。

3. He was very sad heartbroken when his wife left him.

Angry 生氣

可以用 “furious” 來取代 “very angry”，

代表的不只是生氣，而是「怒火中燒」。

【例句】

1. We were very angry furious when we realized he had been lying to us the whole time.
當我們察覺原來他一直在騙我們時，我們都感到怒髮衝冠。

2. My mom was very angry furious at me for skipping school.
我媽媽對於我翹課感到氣炸了。

Tired 疲累

可以用 “exhausted” 來表達 “very tired”，

也就是「完全被榨乾；沒有體力了」。

1. The whole team felt very tired exhausted after the tournament.
所有隊員在錦標賽後都精疲力盡了。

2. I'm recovering from the flu and still feel very tired exhausted.
我正從流感漸漸康復，到現在還是會覺得沒有精力。

Cold 冷

想要表達很冷，可以用 “freezing” 來代替 “very cold”，

Freeze 是指「結冰」，所以 “freezing” 的程度就不只是「冷」，

而是「凍僵」。

1. It's very cold freezing in here. Can we close the window?
這裡面好冷，都快凍僵了。可以關窗戶嗎？

2. It's very cold freezing outside. Make sure to put on a coat.
外面非常冷。記得多穿一件外套。

Small 小

除了 “very small” 外，你可以用 “tiny” 來表達 「超級小」。

你可以用 “huge” 來取代 “very big”，

呈現該項事物真的「很大」的形象。
