要介紹你七個相關片語，
其中有有一些片語無法直接從字面理解意思，
有一些則可以根據字面半矇半猜，
一起來看看有幾個你能準確猜出意思！

hit/strike the right note 言行舉止恰到好處
note的意思除了便簽、筆記、註釋之外，
還有一個很重要的意思是「音符」。
【音符的英文】
- whole note 全音符
- half note 二分音符
- quarter note 四分音符
- eighth note 八分音符
- whole rest 全休止符
hit/strike the right note字面翻譯就是敲打對的音符，
意思也就是「言行舉止恰到好處」。
當然，hit/strike the right note這個片語，
也可以直接形容演奏的音樂非常準確而優美。
同時使用這個片語時，要注意動詞的三態變化，
hit三態同型，hit-hit-hit，
strike三態變化則是strike-struck-struck。
【例句】
He found it difficult to strike the right note when he prepared his opening speech.
他在準備開場演講的時候，發現要讓一切恰到好處非常困難。

face the music字面上看起來是面對音樂，
但它的意思卻是「承擔後果、接受處罰」。

I will face the music and take the responsibility for my actions.
我會為我的行為承擔後果並負起責任。

as clean as a whistle 非常乾淨、沒有犯罪前科
as clean as a whistle字面是像哨子一樣乾淨，
它的意思可以是指「地方或東西非常乾淨」，
也可以是指「某人沒有犯錯、沒有任何犯罪前科」，
也就是這個乾淨可以是物理上的，也可以是衍伸意義。
【例句】
As far as I know, her private life is as clean as a whistle.
就我所知，她的私生活毫無瑕疵。

He tidied up the room at least twice to make sure it was as clean as a whistle.
他至少把房間打掃了兩次，以確保房間一塵不染。

as clear as a bell 清晰宏亮、晴朗清澈
as clear as a bell和as clean as a whistle是不是有點像呢？
不要搞混唷，
一個是clear 清晰的、清澈的、晴朗的，
另一個則是clean 乾淨的。
也因為clear的意思很多，可以形容聲音、天氣、水質等，
所以as clear as a bell可指「清晰宏亮、晴朗清澈」。
【例句】
There are hundreds of vinyl records in the box and they're all as clear as a bell.
箱子裡有數百張黑膠唱片，而且它們的音質都還很清晰乾淨。
【例句】
The general's order was as clear as a bell, wasn't it?
將軍的命令非常清楚，不是嗎？

sing a different tune 改變論調、想法
tune的意思是音調、語調，
sing a different tune字面翻譯是唱不同的調，
實際意思就是指「改變論調、想法」。
類似的用法還有change the tune。
【例句】
Believe it or not, once he learns that she's from a wealthy family, he will sing a different tune.
信不信由你，一旦得知她出身豪門，他會改變他的想法。
【例句】
I bet she will sing a different tune if she wins the election.
我敢打賭如果她贏得選戰，將來一定會改變論調。

blow one’s own trumpet 自吹自擂
trumpet是指「喇叭」，
而blow one’s own trumpet就是指告訴別人自己豐功偉業的行為，
也就是「自吹自擂、大言不慚」的意思。
【例句】
She spent the whole dinner blowing her own trumpet unashamedly.
整個晚宴期間，她都在大言不慚誇耀自己的豐功偉業。
【例句】
I am reluctant to hear him blow his own trumpet.
我很不想聽他自吹自擂。

dance to the beat of one's own drum 我行我素
從字面翻譯來說，dance to the beat of one's own drum
是指隨著自己的鼓點節奏起舞，
而它的意思則是「我行我素、隨心所欲」。
【例句】
She is a person who is eager to dance to the beat of her own drum.
她是渴望能隨著自己節奏行事的人。
【例句】
He is one of my most unique friends and always dances to the beat of his own drum.
他是我最特立獨行的朋友，做事總是我行我素。
