3.have a memory/mind like a sieve 容易健忘
sieve (n.) 篩子；濾網
因為東西過了篩子就一去不復返了，所以引申來形容記性很差。

Sean has a memory like a sieve. I left at least 5 reminders on the fridge about buying milk before he comes home, and now he comes home with empty hands.

tip (n.) 末端
在舌頭的末端就是指都快要講出來了，

6.something escapes/eludes you 知道，但沒辦法完整想起
escape (v.) 逃開
elude (v.) 躲避
這邊並不是指有東西躲開你，
而是跟on the tip of one’s tongue一樣，想說卻記不得全部。
【例句】
I know whom you are talking about, but his name escapes me.
我知道你在說誰，但我想不起她的名字。
I know which restaurant we went to last time, but its name eludes me.

7.one’s mind is a blank/goes blank 腦袋空白，想不起來
blank (n.) 空白 (adj.) 空白的
one’s mind is a blank; one’s mind goes blank 就跟中文有句話一樣：「腦筋一片空白」。
【例句】
When she said we had met at Sara’s birthday 3 months ago, my mind was a blank. It was so embarrassing!
