全球影迷每年最期待的奧斯卡頒獎典禮就快到來，今天就跟著 engoo 一起學學典禮上常聽到的英文單字吧！
奧斯卡金像獎
始於1929年的奧斯卡金像獎，英文正式名稱其實是 “Academy Awards” （學院獎），這裡的「學院」指的是「美國電影藝術與科學學院」，也就是這個獎項的頒發單位；中文比較常使用的「奧斯卡」則是在1939年受學會承認的暱稱，所以在頒獎典禮上，有可能會聽到頒獎嘉賓說 “The Oscar goes to…” 或是 “The Academy Award goes to…”。
Oscars？ Oscar？ 到底要不要加s？
單指一個獎項時，用單數 “Oscar” 就可以，當然，得了很多不同奧斯卡獎項的話，就要用複數型態 “Oscars”；如果要表示整個奧斯卡頒獎典禮，就要用 “The Oscars”，因為整個奧斯卡金像獎是由很多不同獎項所組成的，不是只有一個類別而已。
【例句】
He won an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
他獲得了奧斯卡最佳男主角獎。
The 98th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
第九十八屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮將在2026年3月15日舉行。
頒獎典禮常見單字
Red carpet 紅毯
除了迎接皇室或貴賓時會鋪紅毯迎接，各式頒獎典禮和活動上也可以看到紅毯的身影。
紅毯也進而衍伸出片語 “red-carpet treatment”，就是指「特別待遇」的意思。
【例句】
We got the red-carpet treatment.
我們得到了特別待遇。
Nominee 入圍的
獲得提名的演員或電影就可以用 “nominee” 表示。
【例句】
There are five nominees for this year’s Best Short Film award.
今年最佳短片獎有五部入圍作品。
「提名、推薦」的動詞為 “nominate”，名詞則是 “nomination”。
【例句】
My favorite actor was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role!
我最喜歡的演員入圍最佳男主角獎了！
Presenter 頒獎嘉賓
許多頒獎典禮都會邀請知名演員或歌星來擔任頒獎嘉賓，他們會從手上的信封中唸出入圍名單並公佈得獎者，頒獎嘉賓的腳本和現場表現也是典禮的一大看點。
【例句】
Cillian Murphy was one of the presenters at the 2025 Academy Awards.
席尼墨菲是2025奧斯卡的頒獎嘉賓之一。
獎項類別
Best Picture 最佳影片
最佳影片獎通常是典禮壓軸獎項，也是公眾認為電影界最有聲望的榮譽。
【例句】
"Gone With the Wind" was the first color film to win Best Picture.
《亂世佳人》是第一部獲得最佳影片獎的彩色電影。
Best Actor／Actress 最佳男／女演員
演員又分為主角與配角，只要在 “Best Actor／Actress” 後分別接上 “in a Leading Role” 或是 “in a Supporting Role” 就可以了。
所以「最佳女主角」就會是 “Best Actress in a Leading Role”，「最佳女配角」則是 “Best Actress in a Supporting Role”。
平常講主演的話可以用 “lead actor／actress”。
【例句】
Ana de Armas is the lead actress in "Blonde".
《金髮夢露》由安娜德哈瑪斯主演。
Best Director 最佳導演
【例句】
Steven Spielberg is nominated for Best Director.
史蒂芬史匹柏入圍了最佳導演獎。
Best Screenplay 最佳劇本
劇本獎也分為最佳原創和最佳改編劇本，英文分別為 “Best Original Screenplay” 和 “Best Adapted Screenplay”。
【例句】
Conclave took home a single Academy Award — Best Adapted Screenplay (Peter Straughan) — out of eight total nominations. (Weiss, NBC News, 2025)
《秘密會議》在八項提名中僅奪得一座奧斯卡獎——最佳改編劇本獎（彼特．斯特勞漢）。
Best Cinematography 最佳攝影
【例句】
James Friend of “All Quiet on the Western Front” is nominated for Best Cinematography.
《西線無戰事》的詹姆斯弗林德入圍了最佳攝影獎。
Best Original Score 最佳原創音樂
“Score” 指的是沒有歌詞的樂曲。
【例句】
Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers, and he has been nominated for Best Original Score numerous times.
漢斯季默是我很喜歡的作曲家，他已經入圍最佳原創音樂獎好幾次了。
Best Original Song 最佳原創歌曲
【例句】
“Lift Me Up” has been nominated for Best Original Song.
“Lift Me Up” 入圍了最佳原創歌曲。

奧斯卡相關片語
To play (someone) off （用音樂）把（某人）請下台、強制終止致詞
頒獎典禮上，如果得獎者的獲獎感言講太久，就會播放 BGM 暗示台上的演員時間到了，這種情況就可以用 “play him／her／them off” 形容。
【例句】
His acceptance speech was so long that they had to play him off.
他的得獎感言長到主辦方要播音樂趕他下台。
Oscar bump 奧斯卡加持
所謂的 “bump” 就是指票房突然大幅增長的現象，而「奧斯卡加持」就是指一部電影榮獲奧斯卡獎後，觀眾蜂擁至電影院觀賞的狀況。
【例句】
Most movies that win Best Picture get an Oscar bump.
大部分贏得最佳影片獎的電影都會有奧斯卡加持效應。
Star-studded 眾星雲集的
當演員陣容超級豪華時，就可以用 “star-studded” 形容； “studded” 為「鑲嵌著、佈滿著」之意，常見用法有 “a star-studded sky”（繁星點點的夜空）或是 “a diamond-studded jacket” （鑲滿鑽石的夾克）等。
【例句】
The movie that won Best Picture has a star-studded cast.
這部榮獲最佳影片的電影擁有豪華明星陣容。
