整理房子這種事都是拖到有一天突然心血來潮才做，
整理完就又進入下一個雜亂週期了，是不是！
說到做家事的英文，
很多人都可以信手捻來 “do the dishes（洗碗）”、 “do the laundry（洗衣服）” 等片語，
但你有想過各種鍋碗瓢盆、洗衣精、清潔劑等等相關生活物品英文怎麼說嗎？
一年過得很快，轉眼間馬上又要過年大掃除了，

Chore／Housework 家事
「家事」有 “Chore” 和 “Housework” 這兩種說法：
Chore 是可數名詞，因為家事通常不會只有一件，所以比較常看到複數型 “chores” 出現；
Housework 是不可數名詞，字面上就是「家庭工作」，非常好記。
【例句】
I can’t hang out with you this weekend. I have too many chores/much housework to do.
我這週末不能和你出去，因為有太多家事要做了。

- Vacuum cleaner｜吸塵器
- Mop｜拖把
*包含「膠棉拖把（sponge mop）」、「除塵拖把（dust mop）」、
「紗線拖把（string mop）」和「蒸汽拖把（steam mop）」。

To iron 熨燙
“Iron” 除了名詞「鐵」，也可以當作動詞「熨燙」及名詞「熨斗」。
【例句】
All my work shirts need to be ironed.

To dry the clothes 烘衣
"Dry" 作動詞用時是「弄乾」，所以「烘衣」就可以用這個字。
如果想要更精準地說，後面可以加上 "on high heat（用高溫）" 或 "with a clothes dryer（用烘衣機）"。
【例句】
Don't dry the expensive clothes on high heat because it might damage the fabric.
不要用高溫烘乾昂貴的衣物，因為這樣很可能會破壞布料。

Clean 乾淨的
【例句】

Wrinkled 皺的
動詞 “wrinkle” 指「使......變皺」，這裡加上 -ed 變成過去分詞當形容詞使用，指「皺的」。
而 “wrinkle” 當名詞也可以指「皺摺、皺紋」。

他的衣服總是皺皺的。
Damp 潮濕的
【例句】
These towels are still damp. Can you put them back in the dryer for another 10 minutes?

Out-of-pocket 自費的／自付的／自掏腰包的
“Out of pocket” 字面上意思就是「從口袋出來」，
這邊用到連接號（Hyphen）連接三個字，詞性從介系詞片語變成複合形容詞。
【例句】
We had to pay some out-of-pocket costs for primary care this month.
這個月我們必須自掏腰包支付一些基本醫療費用。
