【用英文怎麼說】大後天的英文是什麼？英文時間說法＆介係詞用法看完這篇就夠！

小編小時候因為英文的介係詞差點放棄學英文，中文講時間用個「在」就足夠，英文還要分是什麼時間點，真的很麻煩！
所以 engoo 這次將走入火叢、解救身困於時間介係詞的大家！
at / on / in 分法
我們可以把 at、on、in 放進金字塔裡，金字塔最頂端就是最精確的 “at”，中間 “on” 的時間範圍較中等，而最下層的 “in” 時間範圍最廣。

| at | 精確時間點（at 7 pm）假期（at Christmas、at Easter、at the weekend）飯點（at dinner/dinnertime、at lunch）太陽相關時間點（at dawn、at sunrise） |
| on | 一週當中的某天（on Monday、on the weekend）特定日期（on November 19th）特殊的日子（on my birthday、on their anniversary、on the Christmas Day） |
| in | 月份＆年份（in July、in 2025）季節（in summer）過去＆未來（in the past、in the future）一天當中的某個時段（in the morning）＊不適用於 “night” |
為什麼 night 要用 at？
in the morning/afternoon/evening 前面都有個定冠詞（the）來指明「時間段」，但是為什麼 “night” 搞特殊？
“at night” 的用法是因為在古代沒有什麼夜生活，所以晚上基本上不會有活動，因此不需要像早上、中午、傍晚來區分「晚上這個時間段」。
不過想一想，有沒有可能是 morning 他們在搞特殊 😆
【補充】為啥是 “at noon”？原因很簡單，因為 “noon” 和 “night” 都是單音節！
on the night 和 in the night 又是什麼意思？
跟著上面表格的規則，當遇到特定一個日期或日子，介係詞就是用 “on”。因此 “on the morning/afternoon/evening/night” 都通順，值得注意的是後面記得加上「of + 日子」，用來表示「某天的晚上」。
【例句】
John had a date with his girlfriend on the night of Valentine's Day.
John 和他女友在情人節當天晚上去約會。
而 “in the night” 與 “in the daytime” 分別指「這天夜裡」和「這天白天」，這邊的 “in” 可以解釋成「在 … 當中」比較好懂！
【例句】
My grandparents visited us yesterday and in the night we ate out.
我的爺爺昨天來拜訪我們，當天晚上我們一起出門聚餐。
at Christmas 和 on Christmas day 哪裡不一樣？
不瞞大家，不管是用 “at Christmas” 還是 “on Christmas” 都對。前面是英式英文，後面是美式英文，但正確的文法是 “at Christmas”。
而因為 “on” 用在特定日，所以 “on Christmas Day” 表示「聖誕節當天」。
同樣地，我們既可以說 “at the weekend” 也可以說 “on the weekend” 喔～
時間副詞
英文的「昨天、今天、明天」用做時間副詞，所以這些副詞前後不會有介係詞！！（先鬆一口氣 😮💨

- two days before yesterday 大前天
- the day after tomorrow 後天
- two days after tomorrow 大後天

My family and I visited Barcelona last summer, and we celebrated my sister’s birthday on the second day of our trip.
我和家人夏天的時候去巴塞羅納玩，我們在旅行的第二天慶祝我姐妹的生日。
其實這句話有個地方有歧義，那就是 “last summer”，中文通常會直譯為去年夏天，可是這裡的夏天指的是「上一個夏天」，所以也有可能是今年夏天。
