【同義字】除了 "bored/boring" 外還能用 dull、indifferent、tired of 等單字片語表達「無聊」！

終於開學了！除了和好久（兩個月）不見的同學見面以外，
就是要面對猶如催眠曲般讓人感到無聊的課程、考試、作業。
Engoo 這次就來和大家分享「無聊」 （boring/bored）的同義詞，
一起面對新學期吧！
Dull｜乏味、無趣的
“Dull” 這個字很簡單，就是指枯燥乏味的，
但注意不要和「娃娃」的 “doll” 搞混囉！
【例句】
That performance was so dull that I would rather watch paint dry.
那場表演無聊到我寧願把時間拿來看著油漆慢慢乾掉。
Blah｜無聊、毫無意義
“Blah” 原本只是當人感到無趣時會發出的聲音、感嘆，
這邊將其變成一個字，也是表達「無趣」。
不過這算是非正式的用法，小心不要用在英文寫作考試喔！
【例句】
The movie was just so blah. I wish I could get my money back.
這部電影很無聊。真想退錢。
Uninterested/Uninteresting｜不感興趣的／無聊的
之前 Engoo 有和大家分享過 “-ed／-ing” 分詞的區別，
剛好就是以 “bored vs. boring” 為例（點這裡複習）。
而 “uninterested” 和 “uninteresting” 也都是指「無聊」，
是由 “un-” 字首（指「不」、「相反」）和 “interest”（勾起興趣）
不過 “-ed” 是「不感興趣」； “-ing” 是「讓人提不起勁」。
【例句】
She was uninterested in the TV show, so she kept checking her phone instead of watching.
她對那部劇不感興趣，所以都一直看手機，沒在看劇。
The TV show was really uninteresting, so she kept checking her phone instead of watching.
這部劇很無聊，所以她根本沒在看，而是一直滑手機。
【補充】
“Disinterested” 和上述 “uninterested” 不同，是指「客觀、無私、無偏頗的」喔！
Unamused/Unamusing｜不感興趣的／無聊的
動詞 “amuse” 指「娛樂、逗笑」，而在前面加上字首 “un-” 即是反義。
而加上 “-ed” 字尾是指「不感興趣的」； “-ing” 即是「無趣的」。
【例句】
She looked unamused; I guess she didn't think the joke was very funny.
她看起來沒有很開心；我想她應該是不覺得那個笑話好笑。
No one laughed at the unamusing jokes.
沒人被這個無聊的笑話逗笑。
Be tired of sth.｜厭倦了、膩了、受夠了
「無聊」的感覺可能是來自於某事重複發生，
也就是中文說的「厭倦」，
英文除了 “have had enough of sth.”（受夠了）以外，
也可以用很簡單的 “be tired of sth.” 表示！
【例句】
I'm tired of hearing the same story over and over again.
同一個故事一直聽，聽到我都膩了。
Listless／Jaded｜無精打采的
Listless 和 Jaded 都指「疲倦的」、「缺乏熱情的」。
【例句】
After hours of waiting, he became listless and started drawing in his notebook.
等了幾個小時後，他變得無精打采，並開始在筆記本上畫畫。
They were jaded after working in the same simple job for years.
同一份工作做了好幾年後，他們都感到厭倦了。
Indifferent｜冷漠的、不感興趣的
各位看到 “different” 前面加上 “in”，可能會以為是「不同」的反義詞，
但其實 indifferent 是指「冷漠」、「不感興趣的」喔！
【例句】
Although the speaker was passionate, the audience was mostly indifferent.
雖然講者非常熱情，但大部分觀眾都不太感興趣。
Unenthused／Unenthusiatic｜不感興趣的
動詞 “enthuse” 指「提起某人的興趣」，和前面的 “interest”、 “amuse” 同義，
這邊也是前後加上 “un-” 和 “-ed” 表達某人「不感興趣」；
另外，形容詞 “enthusiastic” 本身就是指「熱情的」，
前面加上 “un” 即是表示「沒興趣的」。
【例句】
His unenthused reaction to the party was normal since he's not comfortable around large groups of people.
他對於那場派對反應冷淡很正常，因為他不喜歡和一大群人待在一起。
