【旅遊英文】國境開放！出國不怕迷路 這18個問路、指路實用英文句型一定要學起來！

經過三年的疫情，國境終於即將開放！
到時候不論是出國玩的你，或是來臺灣玩的遊客，
可能都會遇到迷路的問題。
雖然現在手機很方便，但有時候不得已的情況下還是得問路人。
學完這次Engoo教給你的句型後，
不用怕用英文問路或替人指路啦！
問路
1. Excuse me. Could you show me how to get to …?
不好意思，請問可以告訴我怎麼去___嗎？
2. Hi. I’m a tourist here. Could you tell me where … is?
嗨！我是來這邊的觀光客。請問可以告訴我___在哪嗎？
3. Sorry to bother you. I’m not from around here, and I’m kind of lost. How do I get to …?
不好意思打擾了。我不是本地人，然後有點迷路了。要怎麼去___呢 ?
文法小教室：
切記在寫作時不要直接用How to…開頭喔！
因為How to …的句型並沒有主詞和動詞，
只能當成一個名詞子句，不能單獨變成句子。
雖然口語或非正式書寫是可以使用，但正式寫作或考試這樣寫就不行！
正確的寫法應該是 How do I…? 或者 Could you tell/show me how to…?）
重複對方的指示
1. So, you mean I should (take a bus, walk towards north, go down the street, etc.), right?
所以，我應該要___（搭公車、往北走、走到底......），對嗎？
2. I will see a (building/shop…) on my right/left hand side, and I walk down the alley next to it, right?
到時候我的右手邊會有___（建築物、商店......），然後我就走進旁邊的巷子走到底，對嗎？
這部分沒有固定句型，基本上只要重複對方講的話就好。
如果希望對方幫你寫下來或是畫下來，你可以說
Could you write/draw it down for me? I’ve got a pen and paper.
可以請你幫我寫下來／畫下來嗎？我這裡有筆和紙。
也別忘記感謝對方
1. I appreciate your help!
非常感謝你的幫助！
2. Thank you! Have a good one!
謝謝！祝你有美好的一天。
指路－－如果你也不熟本地
1. Sorry. I’m not from around here, either.
抱歉。我也不是本地人。
2. Sorry. I don’t really know this place well, either.
抱歉。我也對這裡不熟。
3. Maybe you could ask the staff of that (shop/building).
或許你可以去問看看那間____（商店／大樓）的員工。
如果你剛好知道他要去哪
1. It’s near here. You just go (direction), turn left/right when you see a (building), and then it’s on the other side of the street.
那邊離這裡滿近的。你就往___走，到___時往左／右轉，過個馬路就到了。
2. I’m headed there as well! I can take you there if you don’t mind.
我剛好也要去那邊！不介意的話我可以帶你去。
3. It’s actually a bit far away. You could take the bus route … and get off at … station.
那邊其實有點遠。你可以搭__號公車，在___站下。
4. Cross _____ Street, go down ____ Road, and you will see it on your right-hand side. It’s a big building. You won’t miss it.
過___街後，___路走到底，目的地就在你的右手邊。那棟建築很大，你應該不會走過頭。
5. I can draw/write it down for you so you don’t forget.
如果你怕記不住的話，我可以幫你寫下來／畫下來。
最後要回應對方的感謝
1. I’m glad I can help.
我很高興能幫得上忙。
2. Have a nice day/trip.

模擬對話
A: Excuse me. Could you show me how to get to Tainan Train Station?
不好意思，請問可以告訴我臺南火車站怎麼走嗎？B: Sure. You just go down Datong Road, take the second exit to Beimen Road when you see a circle, and go down the street.
It will be on your right hand side. It’s a big building. You won’t miss it.
當然。你就大同路走到底，看到圓環走第二個出口到北門路，然後直走到底，車站會在右手邊。滿大一棟的，你應該不會錯過。A: Could you draw it down for me? I have a pen and paper.
可以麻煩你畫下來給我嗎？我有紙和筆。
B: Of course. (Drawing) There you go.
可以啊。（畫圖中）好了。
A: So, you mean I go down this road, take this exit, and it will be here, right?
所以，這條路直走，然後從這個出口離開圓環，火車站就在這邊，對嗎？B: Yes!
是的！A: Got it. Thank you so much! Have a nice one!
