1.Storm out 非常生氣地離開
storm本身有風暴、暴風雨的意思，但當我們說某人storm out of某處的時候，
代表他心情很不好，怒氣沖沖的離開。
She stormed out of there because the heavy rain made her soaked.
她在被雨淋濕後氣沖沖的離開這裡。
※氣沖沖離開某處要用storm out of +地點，小心不要忘掉of囉
2.Under the weather 生病
千萬別翻成在天氣下面，
under the weather=sick，代表一個人生病了很不舒服
這句片語老外很常用到，下次跟朋友聊天不要再用sick，換用這句看看吧
Oh please, don't ask me to cook today, I'm a bit under the weather.
拜託～今天別叫我煮飯，我生病了。
3.Weather that storm 闖過難關
當一件事情困難度很高，非常難完成，
然而你努力了很久最後你weather that storm，終於辦到了！
It was extremely hard for me to pass the exam,but finally I weathered that storm.
考試要及格很難，但我做到啦！
4.Get wind of 知道
=found out，發現、知道某事物。
The police got wind of the illegal drug deal.
藥品違法交易的風聲已經走漏給警察知道了。
I don't want my boss to get wind of the fact that I'm leaving.
我不想讓老闆知道我要離職。
She got wind of the birthday party, because someone made a slip of a tongue.
因為某人說溜了嘴，所以她知道我們在準備她的生日趴了。
※made a slip of a tongue說溜嘴
= -let slip/let something slip out
不小心把秘密說出去也可以用let the secret slip out來表示唷！
5.rain on someone's parade 潑冷水
這句照字面翻還蠻好猜到他的意思，當某人在舉辦遊行的時候你澆了一盆水下去～
樓下遊行的人的好心情都被你打壞啦！！
I hate to rain on your parade, but your plans are all wrong.
我不想潑你冷水，但你的計劃是全錯的。

6.take a rain check 更改行程(=rescheduled)
這句也很有趣，不是叫你去查隔天會不會下雨，
而是把原先的約定往後移、改期的意思。

抱歉我明天有個會要開，下次再跟你約。
I'll take a rain check on that drink tonight, if that's all right.
如果可以的話，今晚的酒局改下次好了。
7.Calm before the storm 暴風雨前的寧靜
這句話意思是指形容原先很好的氣氛突然間消失不見，
好比說一對情侶原本很相親相愛，但因為某些原因導致他們快分手，
這種尷尬的氛圍就可以用calm before the storm來形容。
Their relationship is like the calm before the storm.
她們感覺快分手了。
8.On cloud nine 開心
不是叫你做在九朵雲上，
而是指一個人心情好到飛上雲端，開心得不得了！！
When I got my promotion, I was on cloud nine.
當我知道我升官時，我超開心！
※在Serbia有另一種說法叫"on seven sky"，意思是指喜歡上一個人，戀愛的好心情
沉浸在愛的氛圍裡，感覺整個人致身天堂般快樂！

9.steal his/her thunder 搶走目光
Thunder=閃電，閃電閃過通常都會閃一道白光，
有時也會伴隨著轟隆隆的巨大聲響，
這句話依字面上翻是把一個人的閃電偷走，
意思就是你把他的目光都搶走啦～
If you dressed in white,you will steal her thunder.
(在婚禮上)如果你穿白色會搶走她(新娘)的目光。
