【英文文法】so/too/either/neither正確用法是什麼？英文附和句文法大剖析！】
A: 我不喜歡香菜（coriander）。
B: 我也不喜歡香菜。
你會怎麼用英文說第二句呢？
你會選：
(1)Neither do I.
(2)I don’t like cilantro, too.
(3)I don’t like cilantro, either.
(4)So do I.
你的答案是哪個呢？

【英文附和句】
So
【解析】so使用在肯定句、附和對方所說的話，並且用在句首喔！
【範例】
A: I want to spend my summer time in Brisbane.
B: So do I! How about planning something together?
A: 我想在布里斯本度過這個夏天。
B: 我也是！我們一起計畫一些事情怎麼樣呀？
Too
【解析】too也是使用在肯定句、附和對方所說的話，但是用在句尾。
【範例】
A: I like exploring the nature when I have my days-off.
B: Me too! Do you recommend any places in Yilan?
A: 我喜歡休假時去探索大自然。
B: 我也是！你有推薦宜蘭的什麼地方嗎？
Either
【解析】either使用在“否定句”、附和對方所說的話，在句中是放在句尾！
【範例】
A: I haven't lived in Taiwan since high school graduation.
B: Me either. I went to the UK to study later. How about you?
A: 我高中畢業後就沒有住在台灣了。
B: 我也是！我之後就去英國讀書了，那你呢？
Neither
【解析】neither使用在否定句、附和對方所說的話，
因為neither本身具有否定的意思，所以不必再加not，且放在句首使用。
【範例】
A: Anita doesn’t like vegetables, so she always eats meat.
B: Neither do I! I know it is not good for health. I will try to kick the bad habit.
A: Anita不喜歡吃蔬菜，所以她總是吃肉。
B: 我也不喜歡！我知道這樣不健康，我會著改掉這個壞習慣的。
補充說明
英文附和句的時態會隨主句而改變，也可以用其他主詞來做附和喔！

【範例1】
A: The sky was clear last night, so we could see many stars.
B: So could we. The sky was amazing.
A: 昨夜的天空很清澈，我們可以看到好多星星。
B: 我們也是！昨晚的星空嘆為觀止！
※這裡是過去式，所以附和句也要使用過去式喔！
【範例2】
A: I haven’t finished studying English Literature. How about you?
B: Neither have I. We all need to burn the midnight oil today.
A: 我還沒讀英國文學。你呢？
B: 我也還沒。我們今天都要熬夜讀書啦～
※此劇是現在完成式的否定附和句，所以用have來完成句子。
【範例3】
A: I am from California.
B: So is Jenny! I must introduce you to her!
A: 我來自加州。
B: Jenny也是耶！我一定要把你介紹給她認識！
※要表示Jenny也是，所以要使用第三人稱的動詞變化！
【範例4】
A: I don’t like outdoor activities. It’s been too hot recently!
B: Neither do Clara and Nick. Maybe you three can have afternoon tea instead.
A: 我不喜歡戶外活動。最近天氣太熱啦！
B: Clara跟Nick也不喜歡，也許你們可以改去吃下午茶？
※要以Clara跟Nick表示不同意，所以動詞要使用do。
