10/25「臺北熊好券」得獎結果公布時，

一邊聽到歡呼聲此起彼落，

另一邊則是在抱怨上天的不公。

炫耀一下，小編是歡喜的那邊（笑）。

在這邊恭喜也有抽到熊好券的朋友！

記得去查一下有哪些適用店家喔！

不過，你知道怎麼用英文向外國朋友炫耀或解釋「熊好券」嗎？

Bear Voucher／Taipei Digital Stimulus Voucher 熊好券

「熊好券」是以臺北市是吉祥物「熊好」命名，

形象為臺灣黑熊（Formorsan blcak bear），所以英文名稱可以說 Bear Voucher，

不過光看這個名字很難知道這到底是什麼，

所以也可以用更清楚的 “Taipei Digital Stimulus Voucher”，

意即「臺北市數位振興券」。

是不是有點熟悉的感覺啊？

沒錯，因為 “Stimulus voucher” 也是之前三倍券、五倍券的英文。

六種熊好券

Accommodation voucher 熊好住（住宿券）

第一個熊好券是面額最高的「熊好住」，也就是住宿券，

相當於1000元新台幣。

Accommodation 是指「住宿」，在國外訂房網站也會很常使用喔！

【例句】

I won the accommodation vouchers! I’m starting to make plans for my vacation.
我抽中住宿券了！開始規劃假期囉！

Food and shopping voucher 熊好買（饗購券）

價值500新台幣的「熊好買」又名「饗購券」，

顧名思義用途廣泛，包含吃喝和民生購物，

所以應該很多人都有選（小編就是中這個！）

「饗」就是和吃有關；「購」就是購物，

所以可以直接地翻譯成Food and shopping就好，

或是說 vouchers for food and shopping。

（是不是覺得中文有趣多了！）

【例句】

A: Guess what? I won the food and shopping voucher!
跟你說！我抽中了饗購券！

B: So did I! How lucky we are! We can have a decent meal together.
我也有抽中！我們真是天選之人。可以一起去吃頓好料的啊！

Sports voucher 熊愛動（運動券）

「熊愛動」的用法和之前的「動滋券」一樣，

在各大體育場所或用品店，

英文也可以通用 sports voucher。

【例句】

Too bad I didn’t get the sports voucher set! I wanted to use it to extend my gym membership.
沒抽到運動券真是太可惜了！本來想要拿去續約健身房會籍的說。

Market stall voucher 熊好呷（市集券）

說到臺灣美食，就會想到夜市，

熊好呷就是可以讓大家在夜市大啖美食的券。

除了夜市外，也可用在地下街和傳統市場。

【例句】

My dad won the market stall vouchers, so this week my family had some of the best dinners in its history.

我爸抽中了市集券，所以這週我們家的晚餐都吃得比平常好很多。

Art and culture voucher 熊好看（藝文券）

「熊好看」可以用在電影院、劇場、文創商店、書店等藝術文化相關店家，

和之前的「藝FUN券」相同。

先前的「藝FUN券」文化部官方的翻譯是 “Arts FUN” voucher，

對方如果不懂的話就可以用 vouchers for art and cultural events來解釋，

也可以直接用 art and culture vouchers 會更清楚。

【例句】

A: Why does Josh look so depressed? I thought he’d be happy since he got the art and culture vouchers.
為什麼Josh看起來愁眉苦臉的？我以為他抽中藝文券會很開心耶。

B: He asked his crush out to the movies but was rejected.
他約暗戀對象去看電影，但被拒絕了。

Agricultural voucher 熊好玩（農好券）

名稱「熊好玩」可能看不出來此券用途，

不過別名「農好券」就很清楚了，

可以用在花市、有機農場、農產品市集等場域，

所以英文也可以很直白地用 agricultural voucher。

【例句】

A: What’s with all those flowers on the table?
桌上那些花是怎麼來的啊？

B: I won the agricultural voucher and got the flowers at Jianguo Flower Market this morning.
我抽中了農好券，然後早上去建國花市買了這些花。

Register 意願登記／註冊

要獲得熊好券的第一步是要登記意願，

選擇自己想抽的種類，

這個動作的英文就是 register，

和「註冊帳號」是同一個字。

【例句】

A: Did you get any set of the Bear Voucher?
你有抽到任何一種熊好券嗎？

B: No. I didn’t register because I didn’t even know about this event then!
沒有。我那時甚至根本就不知道有這個活動，所以連登記意願也沒有！

Draw 抽（籤）

這次的熊好券是抽籤制的，

而「從中抽出」這個動作就是draw，

和「畫畫」是同一個字。

抽籤就是 draw lots。

【例句】

The teacher asks the students to draw lots to decide on the grouping for the final presentation.

老師讓學生抽籤決定期末報告的分組。

Announce the winner list 公布得獎名單

登記完意願後，最令人期待又怕受傷害的就是公布名單的那天。

得獎名單的英文是 winner list，由此「得獎／抽中」的動詞就是win。

而「公布」除了 announce 外，用 release 也是可以的。

【例句】

Taipei City Government has announced the winner list of the Bear Voucher on October 25th.

臺北市政府已在10月25日公布熊好券得獎名單。

Be valid until…／ Expire 使用期限為...前

抽中熊好券的各位要注意，

使用期限只到12/18，

我們可以用 be valid until (date) 的句型，

或是用動詞 expire (on date)

來提醒中獎的外國朋友。

Valid 這個形容詞可以解釋為「真實的」、「合法的」或是「有效的」；

動詞expire指的是「到期」、「結束」。

注意！expire 可以用在食物和非食物，但valid只能用在非食物（票券、合約等）。

【例句】

1. Note that the vouchers will be valid until 12/18 this year.
注意，兌換券的使用期限只到今年12/18。

2. The tuna cans will expire in a month. We better finish them before that happens.
那些鮪魚罐頭下個月就會過期。我們最好在那之前吃完。

Brick-and-mortar store 實體店

熊好券的本意是要振興受疫情影響的實體店家，

而除了physical store外，商業上常見的「實體店」是 brick-and-mortar store。

Brick指的是「磚塊」，mortar指的是「砌磚用的砂漿」，

複合形容詞中間以-（hyphen）連接，

意思就是一磚一瓦蓋起來的「實體房子」。

【例句】

1. Due to the pandemic, that brand closed down all its brick-and-mortar stores and has been focusing on online marketing.
受疫情影響，該品牌停止所有實體店的營運，並全力專攻網路行銷。

2. Only brick-and-mortar shops take the Taipei Digital Stimulus Voucher.
熊好券的適用店家只有實體店面。

Be equivalent to 價值等同

想要表達票券的價值，或是某抵押品的價值，

可以用be equivalent to這個片語，

或是大家都學過的worth也行喔！

【例句】

This gift card is equivalent to 1000 New Taiwan Dollars.
這張禮品卡價值等同新臺幣1000元。
