Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! I have been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese for the past 3 years. I began my online teaching career amid the pandemic as I was tired of my 9-5 corporate job and wanted to engage with people and the world more meaningfully. Since then, I have finished two Master's degrees in science and social science. Though I am not an expert in any of the fields, I can say that I know a thing or two in the areas of psychology, neuroscience, mental health and counselling. Born and raised in Taiwan, I later on moved to Canada and the UK to study and work. Currently, I travel between Taiwan and Canada and am in the process of writing a literary novel. My philosophy in teaching and learning a new language is to do what brings joy to your life. We are all on this path towards learning and self-discovery, so as long as you are learning, you are on the right track!
