To those who are looking to learn Chinese, I should highlight that I'm not a fully trained Chinese teacher but I value tone correction in my lessons so if you're not a serious learner, please do not sign up for my Chinese lessons. Even though I speak French, I do not provide any French lessons as I'm not a trained French teacher nor am I trying to become one. Thank you for your understanding. My native language is Mandarin Chinese and I also speak English and French. I love learning languages and I've started using English since the age of 5 so I'd like to share my learning experience with my students. I have a bachelor's degree in French studies and a master's degree in media studies in New York City. I've lived in NYC and Yokohama, Japan. In terms of my teaching experiences, I've worked with high school students and professionals from Taiwan and Japan. As a language learner myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to learn a new language. Therefore I aim to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for my students and grow with them. In my leisure time, I enjoy making pour-over coffee, reading, singing, cooking, watching movies and traveling.
