Hello! My name is Pat. I am a native English speaker from the USA with many years of experience teaching English to children and adults. I have multiple teaching certificates and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. I speak 3 languages and I have taught English to students from all over the world. Besides helping people to improve their English skills, I enjoy cooking, rock climbing and studying languages. I understand that learning a second language is very challenging and I greatly appreciate my student's efforts. Sometimes, simply having confidence in oneself can be the key to great communication. In my class, students will feel comfortable, welcomed to participate and receive a lot of encouragement. It is my philosophy that my students are in class to be tutored not tested. With that in mind, my students and I will work together as a team to build their English skills and make each class fun and inspiring. I look forward to meeting you!
